Our Nature

Our Wildlife Walk to celebrate Jefferies' 175 anniversary ran throughout 2023, starting from Jefferies' birthplace in Swindon (the museum) and taking us to his grave in Worthing, via all the main places where he lived in his short life. We celebrated the year with a party on his 175th birthday - 6th November 2023.

Now, all the contributions from the many people involved have been put together in a wonderful, full colour magazine. Called 'Our Nature', it is all about what it says on the cover, our nature: both the green stuff we think of as ours by right; and our natural characteristics that make it all a bit more complicated than that, especially in the busy, ever-changing modern world.

All proceeds go back to the museum!
